£32,000 DOE + uncapped OTE + Overtime 1.25x hrly rate
HGV Service Advisor required to join our client in Hayes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background within the HGV industry and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
This role in Hayes offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of their service department and ensuring customer satisfaction.
HGV Service Advisor Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing and optimising service bookings: Efficiently interpreting customer requirements to ensure timely and well-planned service appointments.
2. Supporting customer needs: Assisting customers with their service schedules, MOTs, and O Licence requirements.
3. Ensuring quality and accuracy: Auditing job cards and associated documentation to maintain high standards of service.
4. Promoting safety and compliance: Adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring safe work practices.
5. Coordinating external services: Managing sublet orders and coordinating specialist work as needed.
6. Providing excellent customer service: Responding to inquiries, greeting customers warmly, and promoting additional services.
7. Maintaining accurate records: Updating customer information and creating job cards.
8. Collaborating with the team: Effectively communicating with service advisors, parts staff, and the workshop controller.
HGV Service Advisor Required Skills and Experience:
1. Previous experience in the HGV Industry either on or off the tools.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
5. Proficiency in DMS Systems, Kerridge, Pinnacle or 1Link.
6. Confident with upselling products on a B2B & B2C basis.
