LVS Oxford is a independent School for young people aged 11-19 with autism and offers a specialist and supported learning environment.
Our priority is to educate the whole person and provide them with life skills to enable them to successfully enter the world of further study and employment. The postholder will work directly with children and young people with a diagnosis on the autism spectrum (ASD).
TA's have a varied role within the classroom and school including assisting the teacher, working with individuals or groups of children, organising and running some activities, supporting with off-site activities and producing displays and resources.
Candidates must display some knowledge of special educational needs and Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support in Teaching & Learning in schools or equivalent is desirable. If you have the skills to help us make a difference and are interested in joining us now or in the future, we would like to hear from you.
