We have a part-time opportunity for an experienced communications professional to join our award-winning team. This is a rare opportunity to join an innovative and hard-working team, working across both internal and external channels.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging content for the Group’s websites, social media channels, and staff intranet.
2. Produce content, both written and digital, for our staff intranet.
3. Share the work Wheatley is doing to transform communities and change lives for the better.
4. Provide, alongside other team members, a 24/7 on-call media service (on a rota-basis).
5. Contribute across all areas of the team’s work, including planning and evaluating integrated PR campaigns, dealing with media enquiries, and writing press releases.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills and experience in a busy communications/press office or journalism experience in newspapers or media websites. A keen interest in producing video content would be desirable, but not essential. You should be flexible, a real team player, and multi-skilled.
Working Pattern
The working pattern will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday one week and Monday and Tuesday the following week.
