You will work alongside our bid writer to support the tender application process, ensuring timely delivery of PQQs and tenders.
Based at our head office in Manchester, you will support the Bid Writer by providing key administrative duties to ensure the timely delivery of all PQQs and tenders. This role requires a high level of written, administrative, and communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Prior experience is desirable but not required, as full training will be provided.
Hybrid working offered once probationary period completed.
Responsibilities
* All administration concerned with PQQs and tenders
* Managing all incoming and outgoing mail relating to the tenders’ function
* Compiling content and putting it into a great format for tender documents and PQQs
* Maintaining a tender tracker, providing accurate storage and recording of current and past contracts
* Gathering market intelligence on pipeline opportunities
* Assisting in the accurate and timely submission of tenders
Skill Set and Experience
* Good understanding of IT systems – especially Teams, Excel, Word, Office, and PowerPoint
* Experience using various electronic tender systems / online portals – desired but not essential as training provided
* Strong communication skills with an excellent command of written and spoken English
* Experience working within a similar environment / discipline
* Organised and methodical with own workload
* Tenacious research skills to enable the gathering of information critical to developing a competitive offer
* Must be willing to undergo training and development.
