The Role:
The Business Systems Lead (Mosaic), together with the Business Development Officer (Mosaic) will work with colleagues across Children's Services Directorate and IT to ensure that Mosaic meets the evolving needs of Children’s Services and that the system is being used as designed and to its maximum potential.
This is a pivotal role, translating the service needs to the IT development teams as well as being able to translate the technical capabilities and opportunities of Mosaic back to the business. You will use this knowledge to support Children's Services Directorate decision making around priorities for future Mosaic system improvements or developments. You will work in partnership with IT to ensure that on a day-to-day basis, the desired business outcomes are being delivered by Mosaic. You will coordinate across multiple stakeholders inclusive of Children’s Services and IT Departmental colleagues, Mosaic system users, CFMT and the Data, Governance and Systems Team.
The role will provide you with the opportunity to represent HCC at the Mosaic regional User Group and to forge links with others in similar roles in other Local Authorities. You will have line management responsibility for the C&F Business Development Officer and will be accountable for ensuring the Mosaic system is being used effectively, identifying areas of discrepancy and/or where users need more support.
