We are currently seeking a Technical Architect who will join the Infrastructure team to play a key role in the implementation of systems architecture to help solve our organization’s platform, systems and network challenges. Essential experience of specific technologies and services is listed within the Role Profile.
The responsibilities of the Technical Architect will include overseeing infrastructure design, testing and integrating all aspects of hardware and software, to address and solve specific business problems within our organisation.
The successful candidate should hold a degree or recognised IT/Information qualification and/or equivalent relevant experience.
Working as a Technical Architect, the role holder will have expertise in networking concepts, cloud computing, and principles – including knowledge of cloud platforms like SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. Furthermore, they should also have experience of infrastructure technical architecture covering the domains of Identity and Access Management, Privilege Access Management, networking, telephony, data centre, backup & disaster recovery and endpoint management & protection.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with projects with budgets in the region of £500k+ as well as experience of designing and implementing solutions whilst working with internal and external providers. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential to this role as you will be communicating complex information to a varied range of users and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have strong project and resource management skills including managing deadlines, people management, defining and evaluating solutions with the ability to deliver those solutions within specific timeframes and with available resources.
