Whether it’s due to homelessness or poor mental health, the number of people experiencing a crisis is on the rise. Connection Support believes in a future where people are free from crisis. But for the times when crises do happen, we’ll be there to help every step of the way.
Does this sound like something you want to be a part of?
We are currently recruiting two Case Workers to join our Integrated Floating Support Service (IFSS) in Milton Keynes.
About the Service
IFSS supports people with a history of rough sleeping, or people who are at risk of rough sleeping, to make positive moves towards maintaining settled accommodation and achieving an improved quality of life.
The Impact you will have
Encouraging people to make positive changes to their lives, you will provide support to access appropriate services that promote their ongoing recovery and independence such as housing, tenancy rights, benefits, mental, physical and substance misuse support, education, employment and training.
You will empower your clients to develop practical life skills, such as budgeting, paying bills, and building resilience. In addition, you will encourage them to connect and build appropriate networks within the local community, with landlords, and where possible, re-establish and reconnect with family and friends.
