Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: Role Purpose We’re looking for someone to manage and coordinate the onboarding and induction process for all new colleagues joining our charity, ensuring it’s seamless, efficient, and provides an excellent introduction to the organization. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to build a well-recruited and well-trained workforce through: The smooth onboarding and induction of new colleagues, including those transferring under TUPE Planning and coordinating induction training for new starters Reporting key information to inform decision-making for the regional HR teams This role is crucial in ensuring new colleagues receive the warmest welcome and in safeguarding the wellbeing of the people we support by ensuring that all new hires are thoroughly vetted, suitable for the role, and excited to start their journey with us About the Role Based remotely or from our Support Services office in Widnes, you'll work with the onboarding team to support new colleagues as they start their careers with us. Maintain regular contact with new colleagues, helping them through their onboarding or eLearning modules Keep hiring managers updated on the progress of their candidates Manage the candidates vetting process by checking references, requesting disclosure checks (DBS/PVG), to ensure strict compliance with our guidelines/ Helping to troubleshoot issues that new colleagues might face (and work with colleagues on great solutions) Work with our key systems and ensuring that we keep great records Based from home, you’ll be the master of your own working day – so you’ll need to be proactive and excellent at planning and prioritisation. You’ll need to be passionate about delivering a great service to everyone – onboarding people well and quickly. You’ll be working virtually with a team and have access to great support throughout the day. This is a fast paced, dynamic role, and responsibilities and daily duties will flex according to the needs of the organisation. This role would suit someone with experience of customer service, sales and marketing or call centre environments who are used to following a process and updating live systems. Skills and Experience You'll need to be good with computers as the role involves navigating a number of systems Experience working in a busy customer service, sales and marketing, call centre, recruitment, or an administrative function You'll be a confident IT and systems user You’re comfortable speaking with customers and stakeholders, providing updates, and offering solutions with professionalism and clarity.
