What makes this more than an average role?
Great question. Here’s the answer…
You’ll be a key part of our leadership team, where your ideas, expertise, and problem-solving skills will shape the future of our projects and the success of our business.
You’ll be working alongside some of the most creative designers and talented landscapers in the industry, ensuring that each project is delivered seamlessly—on time, on budget, and beyond expectations.
You’ll have the autonomy to lead, make decisions, and drive change in a company that values ambition and innovation.
What will you be responsible for?
• Project Leadership – Oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
• Contractor Coordination – Liaise with contractors to ensure the highest quality of work and efficiency on site.
• Design Collaboration – Work closely with our talented design team to ensure that creative visions are accurately brought to life.
• Client Engagement – Maintain strong communication with clients, keeping them informed and ensuring they are thrilled with the progress.
• Team Management – Lead and support the landscaping team, making sure they have everything they need to succeed.
• Scheduling & Problem-Solving – Create and maintain schedules, proactively anticipating and resolving any challenges.
• Cost & Budgeting – Sense check costs against schedules, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.
Who are we looking for?
• A highly experienced project manager with a strong background in construction (landscape construction experience is a big plus!).
• A leader who thrives on taking ownership and delivering outstanding results.
• A fantastic communicator who can engage with contractors, clients, and team members effortlessly.
• Someone with a strong eye for detail and a knack for keeping projects on track and within budget.
• If you have plant knowledge, even better—but it’s not a deal-breaker.
• You take initiative, work autonomously, and proactively solve problems—whether that’s adjusting schedules to prevent delays or finding innovative solutions onsite.
Why Join Us?
At Scott Taylor Garden Design, you won’t just be managing projects—you’ll be shaping the landscapes of the future.
