We are supporting a company based in Basildon with recruiting for a permanent, office-based Internal Sales Coordinator. The hours are Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm and Friday 8am - 3:30pm. There is free parking on-site.
Duties will include:
1. Responsible for a range of customer accounts
2. Attend daily production meetings, and making amendments as required
3. Identifying customer returns and booking in onto the system
4. Generating works orders
5. Processing sales orders, while understanding the customers' expectations for planning and production purposes
6. Booking couriers and creating necessary paperwork
7. Generating picklists and delivery notes for dispatch
8. Assessing daily delivery schedule and highlighting any concerns/shortages to relevant departments
To be successful you will need to have account management or customer service coordination experience and ideally experience of using ERP/MRP systems. You must be proactive and be able to remain calm under pressure.
