An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Deputy Manager to work within our Mulbarton early years setting. The position will report to the Nursery Manager & Owners/Directors.
The position is term time only; 30 - 40 hours per week over five days.
Essential: Level 3 childcare qualification. Desirable: Level 5 childcare qualification or above.
The hours and days are negotiable for the right candidate, this will be discussed during your interview.
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery toddler room whilst ensuring all the relevant legal requirements are met. They will also be required to take overall responsibility for the setting, including managing a team of staff in the manager's absence.
We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic individual with a proven track record of successful team leadership. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the necessary drive and enthusiasm required for a fast-paced, challenging environment. Applicants must also have exceptional knowledge of the EYFS & be aware of the early learning framework and be committed to continuous professional development. The applicant must be able to direct the team and manage calmly through difficult situations during each session.
The hourly rate will be £12.50 - £14.00 depending on qualifications and experience, to be reviewed after a successful probation period.
