We are looking for a Full Time People Advisor to join our team in Thatcham As a HR People Advisor, you will partner with the People Officer and operate as a true generalist, managing the day to day running of the HR department at the site.

HR People Advisor role details:
Salary: £37,500 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week
Working pattern: Monday-Friday - Flexibility on Times
Location: Gist Thatcham, RG19 4BQ
What you’ll do:
10. Ensuring the operational success and development of the HR department, working closely alongside senior site management
11. Heavy involvement in matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues
12. Absence management
13. Delivery of induction training for new starters, consistently updating welcome pack information
14. Ensuring all elements of HR administration are carried out - e.g. starters, leavers, referencing, security and compliance checks, etc
15. Assist with all aspects of recruitment and selection on site
Who you are:
16. Experience within a similar People/HR Advisory/Officer position
17. Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards
18. Previous experience within the FMCG, logistics or supply chain sector would be highly desirable, as would exposure to a unionised environment
19. Excellent relationship building skills
20. Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
