To provide a confidential and high-quality support service to the Maternity Services, of both an administrative and practical nature. The post holder will provide administration and clerical cover for other departments in maternity services when required.
You will be responsible for providing clerical/administrative support to a busy maternity area – predominantly Sturtridge labour ward/Triage area, using the IT systems to capture patient activity (may need to support other maternity areas if required). This is a busy, diverse role which requires excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. The post holder also requires excellent communication skills to interact with patients/visitors and all levels of staff who work or visit the area.
