Our client, an independent, fast-growing business based in Sawley, is keen to appoint a highly skilled and dynamic Account Manager to join their small, talented team. This is a busy and varied role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively with both clients and internal stakeholders.
As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing relationships with an established client base.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage key client accounts, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
3. Handle incoming orders from initial enquiry to completion.
4. Prepare accurate quotations tailored to client specifications and requirements.
5. Coordinate with third-party transport companies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of orders.
6. Monitor and manage shipping schedules, resolving any delivery issues that arise.
7. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best terms and timely procurement of materials.
8. Quickly and effectively resolve client issues, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
9. Manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience in account management, sales support, or customer service roles.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
4. High attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
5. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems is desirable.
7. Knowledge of logistics and working with third-party transport companies is a plus.
