Job Description:
What You'll Do
The Director Quality Engineering, partnering with internal stakeholders, is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) within an organization. Ensures products and services consistently meet high quality standards by leading a team of quality engineers, setting quality policies, analyzing data to identify improvement areas, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and customer requirements, acting as the strategic leader within technology for quality initiatives across the company.
How You'll Do It
* Strategic Quality Planning:
Developing and executing a long-term quality vision, aligning with company goals, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance
* Team Leadership:
Leading and managing a team of quality engineers, assigning tasks, providing mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
* Process Improvement:
Identifying opportunities for process optimization, analyzing data to identify root causes of quality issues, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and improve product quality
* Quality System Management:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality management systems (QMS) across all operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
* Quality Assurance Oversight:
Reviewing and approving quality plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols to ensure products consistently meet specifications
* Compliance Management:
Ensuring adherence to all relevant industry regulations, standards, and certifications, including internal audits and external inspections
Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics
* 10+ years Leading enterprise scale Quality Engineering activities within the Financial Services industry focused on identifying open source tool sets and adopting it for enterprise usage, or related.
* In lieu of education: 14+ years leading enterprise scale Quality Engineering activities within the Financial Services industry focused on identifying open source tool sets and adopting it for enterprise usage, or related experience
