Embedded in everything we do, risk management is key to effectively identifying, monitoring and anticipating the diverse array of risks the firm faces in serving clients and operating its global businesses.
The Risk business is a team of specialists charged with managing the firm’s risk and providing the overall financial control and reporting functions. Whether assessing the creditworthiness of the firm’s counterparties, monitoring market risks associated with trading activities, or offering analytical and regulatory compliance support, our work contributes directly to the firm’s success. Our Risk division develops comprehensive processes to monitor, assess and manage the risk of expected and unexpected events that may have an adverse impact on the firm. Risk teams play a critical function for the firm, driving how the firm takes and manages risk.
Risk professionals execute critical day-to-day risk management activities, lead projects and contribute to the ongoing advancement of a robust risk management program. Effective coordination with executive management, business units, control departments and technology is critical for success. Operating in a fast-changing environment and utilizing the best in class risk framework, Risk teams are analytically curious, have an aptitude for challenges and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Teams available:
* Credit Risk assesses the creditworthiness and financial strength of clients to determine acceptable levels of credit exposure.
* Finance Risk controls and oversees the firm’s liquidity risk management framework, including stress testing and limit governance.
* Market Risk assesses, monitors and manages the firm’s risk due to changes in market conditions.
* Operational Risk focuses on the development and implementation of risk assessment frameworks designed to identify, measure, monitor and manage risk exposures associated with systems, people, processes and external events.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s degree.
* 0-3 years of prior work experience in a relevant field.
* Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
* Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
* Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
* Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries and businesses.
* Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgments.
* Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders.
* Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information.
* Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment.
