This is an exciting role front of house, working closely with clinical colleagues to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care. The role requires someone who has a great level of attention to detail and good organisational skills for managing in a busy environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for dealing with colleagues, patients, and families. The needs of the service user will be the utmost priority. The principle of high-quality customer care is at the heart of this role.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to admit/discharge and transfer patients, answer telephone enquiries, create appointments, and arrange transport for patients.
With training, the role includes answering queries from private patients accessing services through Parkside ward and directing them to the various areas of the hospital delivering the service. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the reception area is tidy and well-organised and that office supplies and stationery are ordered and kept stocked up.

* A good standard of general education.
Experience
* Hospital Receptionist experience.
* Experience in working in a private healthcare environment.
