A Day in the Life
Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain, as well as breadth of experience across multiple disciplines. They are able to partner with hospital management teams to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and run and optimize operations.
We are looking for an experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Leader who will be responsible for establishing and managing the PMO for complex, high value programmes across IHS EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) managed service implementations. In this role you will lead a newly established service activation team, working closely with wider operational and commercial functions to embed optimised processes and methodologies to deliver best in class activations through efficient planning, reporting and communication. This is a remote role with a willingness to travel within the EMEA perspective (approximately 30% total).
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
* Lead the ongoing design and set-up IHS Service Activation ensuring alignment with OneIHS methodologies, processes and client-specific requirements
* Manage and continuously improve of the PMO, ensuring that IHS has the project management capability to deliver large complex projects across EMEA
* Lead, mentor, and develop the project management team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
* Ensure that all IHS projects meet the required scope, project timelines, and budgetary requirements
* Oversee the selection, prioritisation, and management of the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and goals
* Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate and prioritize projects based on business impact, resource availability, and risk
* Provide consolidated performance reports and analysis, including task status, milestones, financials, and risks
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* Several years of experience in NHS (National Health Service) facing project management with at least a few years in a PMO leadership role with a focus on supply chain operations
* Bachelor’s degree in project management, supply chain management, healthcare management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
* Proven success in leading large-scale, complex projects and programmes on time and within budget
* PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments), or similar project management certification and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planisware) and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid)
* Ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and high performing working environment
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to adapt project management approaches to different project types and requirements, and ability to manage competing priorities
* Fluency in English required; other languages preferred (Dutch, Danish, French, German)
