Nuclear Medicine Technologist Pay Rate: £26 per hour (assignment rate)

Main duties of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist:
* Carry out any duties in Nuclear Medicine under the direction of the Chief Technologist.
* Work cross site at either the Colchester or Ipswich Nuclear Medicine Department where required, sometimes at short notice.
* Administer Radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of the ARSAC licence holder, according to departmental protocols.
* Care for any patient undergoing a Radionuclide investigation.
* Perform imaging in accordance with Departmental protocols.
Requirements of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist:
* BSc in Clinical Technology with specialisation in Nuclear Medicine, or BSc in Radiography with subsequent specialisation in Nuclear Medicine.
* Minimum 2 years Nuclear Medicine experience.
* NHS experience.
* Car driver preferable.
