Job Description:
Our client, a growing and dynamic multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, requires a Senior Building Services Engineer. They provide a wide range of services across various industry sectors including commercial, health, education, defence, residential, and community.
The role involves providing engineering support with expertise in M&E engineering in the built environment, including design and project management, with a focus on Electrical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all projects meet high technical standards, are completed on time and within budget.
* Engage in fee-earning work, including design of schemes requiring high-level technical expertise.
* Assist in forming sound engineering solutions and providing cost-effective options.
* Meet with clients to establish project briefs and budget considerations.
* Create detailed specifications and drawings based on client briefs.
* Review tenders, prepare reports, and make recommendations.
* Manage site works from start to finish.
* Monitor site activities against specifications and finalize contractor accounts.
* Inspect existing installations and submit condition reports.
* Prepare monthly fee invoicing and meet financial targets.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
* Degree or Master's in Engineering.
* Member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and/or The Energy Institute (or equivalents) - preferable.
* Chartered Engineer status or nearing completion.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Experience with IES (Mechanical) or Amtech (Electrical) design software.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, CIBSE guides, building regulations, and best practices.
