The Team The Teaching Excellence team sits within Teaching and Learning Delivery and is part of the wider Division of Student and Academic Services within the Directorate for the Student Experience. The Role Responsible for leadership and direction of the Teaching Excellence Team to ensure the delivery of a wide range of activities to enhance the quality of teaching excellence across the University. The role involved developing, embedding and maintaining effective working partnerships with colleagues, students and other relevant stakeholders, which are conducive to the effective realisation of the University’s strategic aspirations to the delivery of teaching excellence and enhancing the student experience. The Person You will have a proven track record in leading teams, managing projects and understanding teaching excellence in higher education. You will have strong strategic thinking skills, an ability to manage projects within budget and have experience in policy and programme development and implementation. With excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation and analytical skills to be able to develop and manage work plans within the context of Teaching Excellence, with a commitment to delivering an outstanding student and staff experience. You will be able to represent the University externally and demonstrate a commitment to the University’s strategic goals. The role operates within a culture of continuous change and you will proactively review and develop those activities for which you are responsible.
