Due to continued growth and success, Total Security are on the lookout for an experienced Revenue Accountant to join the team.

Revenue Recognition & Accounting
* Accurately record revenue transactions in accordance with FRS102 and company policies, including deferred revenue.
* Day-to-Day reconciliation of merchant processing accounts and comparison to third-party systems.
* Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting.
Cash Flow & Reconciliation Analysis
* Perform detailed analysis of actual cash received versus expected revenue to identify variances and highlight trends.
* Reconcile revenue data with third-party systems to ensure completeness and accuracy.
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies between recorded revenue and third-party system reports.
* Ownership of revenue cash flow forecasting as needed by the business.
* Working with the billing team to minimise the order-to-cash times.
* Perform regular cash sweeps of merchant accounts.
Process Improvement & Compliance
* Develop and implement process improvements to enhance revenue tracking and reconciliation efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
* Provide insights and recommendations for improving revenue collection and recognition strategies.
Reporting & Analysis
* Prepare monthly revenue reports for stakeholders.
* Support forecasting and budgeting efforts by providing revenue trend analysis.
* Modelling the financial implications of merchant processing agreements.
Who are we looking for?
When recruiting for a Revenue Accountant, we look for individuals who have the following skills & experience:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Confident communication skills
* Strong commercial acumen
* Highly numeric/strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Advanced level spreadsheet skills and IT literacy
* Drive to continually improve processes and seek new challenges
* Ability to work well under pressure, working accurately with attention to detail, and meeting deadlines
* Ability to be flexible
* Knowledge of Xero and previous SaaS experience desirable
* Attention to detail
* Highly organised
