About the role:
A new flagship East Sussex hotel (launching summer 2025) is now looking for a Sales Manager who can build a high-performing pipeline before the first guest checks in. Reporting directly to the CEO &COO, you will:
* Design and deliver the end-to-end sales strategy for rooms, events, retreats and memberships
* Target corporate, MICE and premium leisure segmentsconverting enquiries into long-term partnerships
* Leverage your regional network to win high-value events, parties and off-sites
* Collaborate daily with marketing & events, guaranteeing a seamless hand-off from sales promise to flawless operations
* Represent the brand at London showcases and key industry conferences
About you:
* 5+years beating sales targets in hotels or large venues
* Deep expertise in corporate, MICE and group-booking cycles
* Regional black book of corporate decision-makers and event planners
* First-class relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills
* Organised and detail-oriented; can juggle multiple high-value deals at once
* Embrace a start-up mentalityhappy to step outside your lane when needed
Bonus points:
* Experience launching a property or brand from scratch
* Existing contacts in the East Sussex / Kent creative & corporate scene
* Familiarity with membership-based hospitality models
