We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Home Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in managing care homes, who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and leading a committed team.
As the Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, and managing the business operations, including budgets and financial targets. You will work closely with the local authority and other stakeholders, while leading a motivated team to ensure the residents receive the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with care standards and CQC requirements.
2. Lead and manage a team of staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
3. Manage the care home budget and business requirements, ensuring effective financial controls.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with the local authority and other external agencies.
5. Ensure that all care plans are tailored to the needs of individual residents and are consistently reviewed.
6. Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring their continued professional development.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Proven experience as a Home Manager or in a similar role within the care sector.
2. Strong understanding of care standards, CQC regulations, and local authority partnerships.
3. Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
4. Strong organisational and financial management abilities.
