An exciting opportunity has arisen for our manufacturing client in Newcastle under Lyme for a Sales Coordinator to join a leading national manufacturer and supplier of niche and bespoke specialist products. As the Sales Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the sales division and be a key figure in the closing of sales and a point of contact for all clients.
Duties for the Sales Coordinator:
1. Follow up the quotations with prospective clients to develop the sales lead to provide to the Sales Advisors
2. Recognise opportunities to close the sale
3. Apply customer service and communication skills to build and maintain customer relationships
4. Negotiate to ensure the best deal for the business and customer
5. Update project notes and company/contact information onto the CRM system
6. Regularly communicate with customers to provide technical and sales advice
7. Provide weekly reports and forecasting relating to order activity
8. Lead generation through various tools such as subscription services, web and social media platforms, where you will collate information relating to the market sector
9. Arrange and attend meetings with potential and existing contacts
Candidate Requirements:
1. Experience in sales development and customer service, ideally within the manufacturing industry
2. Negotiation skills and proven experience in upselling, cross-selling, and closing the sale
3. Experience of working to deadlines and excellent time management
4. Ability to identify strong leads with strong attention to detail
5. Excellent researching skills online and through social media
6. Experience using CRM systems
7. A positive and proactive approach to your work
8. A team player who thrives working in a team environment
9. Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Salary: up to £26,000 Per Annum
