Senior Finance Manager
Responsibilities
1. Responsibility for the reporting of the AVEVA group consolidated results for group reporting to Schneider Electric in line with the group reporting timetable:Full actual reporting package to Schneider (IS and BS including movements) Cashflow reporting Additional disclosure reporting as required by Schneider phased closing timetable
2. Working closely with the finance operations team, regional heads of finance and internal audit to improve processes and controls around the financial reporting close, including:
3. system validations;
4. HFM access and locking controls;
5. automation;
6. reconciliations;
7. review processes; and
8. change management.
9. Support alignment activities between Schneider and AVEVA for all financial reporting requirements
10. Supporting the external audit process, interacting with the audit team, and providing relevant documentation
11. Ensuring that consolidated group financial statements are prepared in accordance with IFRS standards in line with the prescribed timelines
12. Ensuring that all consolidation adjustments are calculated accurately and documented to an auditable standard
13. Being seen as a valuable source of support to controllers to help achieve reporting deadlines and report in accordance with group policies
14. Implement new structures, processes and controls that drive operational effectiveness in the organisation, balancing the need for accuracy, timeliness and control
Skills and Qualifications
15. Accounting qualification or similar
16. Desirable experience in Schneider OPUS (HFM) and other tools
17. Experience of implementing systems and/or process change
18. Building relationships quickly/interpersonal skills
19. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
20. Organised and able to balance conflicting priorities
21. Capable of managing time and meeting deadlines
22. Collaborative, with good communications skills
23. High attention to detail
24. Confident, motivated self-starter
25. Able to comply with documented processes and procedures
