We have an exciting opportunity for an admin team supervisor to join our friendly and dedicated business support team working for Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Continuing Healthcare (CHC). The base can be either Truro or Bodmin, with flexibility to work from home.
This post is for 37.5 hours per week, weekdays only.
CHC is full of activity where caring colleagues achieve together to meet the needs of the service. You will be required to work in partnership with your colleagues, work on your own initiative and manage sensitive situations.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will provide day-to-day line management of a team of up to 8 administrative staff, dealing with all management topics such as workload, performance, absence, annual leave, appraisals, supervision, and any other HR issues that may arise. Overseeing all administrative functions and ensuring that the business support team is working effectively.
In addition to line management responsibilities, the post holder will have an administrative workload and work within the wider business support team as required.
The post holder will be able to establish and maintain key working relationships with CHC administrative staff. Provide and co-ordinate a full range of administrative duties to support NHS Continuing Healthcare and related processes that sit within the CHC service. Maintain administrative support systems such as a client database to facilitate efficient working of the team, quality of data, and reporting to meet the quality standards.

Person Specification
Experience
* Supervisor experience of managing staff
* Experience of working in a busy office/administrative environment
* Excellent IT skills, particularly in the use of Word, Excel, MS Office
* Experience of being able to communicate well with individuals, their families, and other agencies dealing with sensitive information and understanding the importance of confidentiality
* Experience of using and maintaining a database.
