My client based in Fleet is seeking an HR Advisor to join their team. As a key member of the HR team, you will be pro-active and people-focused to support strategic initiatives. You will be working alongside various departments to provide high-quality advice and support on a wide range of HR issues.
Duties
1. Provide accurate advice on HR policies, employee relations issues, and legislative compliance.
2. Help resolve queries and manage casework related to disciplinary actions, grievances, performance issues, and absence.
3. Advise managers and staff on HR policies and procedures, ensuring fair and consistent application across all teams.
4. Support hiring managers through the recruitment process; conducting interviews, onboarding new employees, and ensuring compliance.
5. Support the creation and delivery of training sessions to line managers and employees to enhance their knowledge and understanding of HR matters.
6. Participate and contribute to HR projects, such as policy reviews and employee engagement activities.
7. Support the monthly payroll process ensuring total accuracy and that set deadlines are met.
8. Maintain and update HR records accurately, producing regular reports and key HR metrics to support strategic decision-making.
9. Ensure compliance with GDPR and Data Protection requirements, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Skills and Experience
1. Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards.
2. At least 2 years proven generalist HR experience e.g. employment law, recruitment and selection, performance management, recognition, and reward.
