Job Title: Supply Chain Administrator
Location: Wincanton
Salary: £24,900 per annum (DOE, with potential company pay review in April 2025)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (with occasional out-of-hours availability for infrequent evening and weekend calls)
Duration: Temp to Perm (Permanent considered for the right candidate)
Start Date: Immediate
We are looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join our busy, office-based sales support team in Wincanton. This role is perfect for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to planning and customer service.
The Job:
• Processing customer orders received via email and telephone, ensuring accurate and timely entry into the Business Central (BC) system.
• Communicating orders effectively to relevant teams within the business.
• Liaising with customers to take sales orders and handle service-related issues.
• Entering third-party supplier despatch information into the BC system in a timely manner.
• Managing the planning of Bruton butter packing, including:
* Coordinating with the Procurement Director to determine cream purchase requirements.
* Working with the Bruton production team to prioritise weekly butter packing schedules.
* Monitoring butter stock levels to prevent shortages or surplus stock.
• Providing planning support for the Cheese Planner during holiday periods.
• Maintaining customer admin in the BC system, including:
* Setting up new customers and shipping locations.
* Managing sales pricing updates.
* Providing sales support information to the Commercial team.
The Requirements:
• Computer literate with experience using business systems (experience with Business Central (BC) is an advantage but not essential).
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work proactively and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both within the internal team and with external customers.
• A team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
