Programming Engineer required to join a leading construction specialist located in Horsham. The company are specialists within façade industry focusing on a range of roofing and cladding products. Due to continuous growth, the company are looking for an experienced Engineer to join their team.

Programming Engineer Position Overview
5. The Processing Engineer ensures all works orders are complete and issued to manufacture in a timely and accurate fashion to maintain company productivity and efficiency at levels prescribed by management.
6. To maximise efficiencies by reducing sheet waste through accurate parts nesting.
7. To check work issued by external drawing offices prior to processing to ensure consistency with Bailey protocols.
8. Liaise with Production manager and technical manager as to current production requirements.
9. Checking works packages from inhouse manufacture drawing office and external drawing offices
10. Processing works packages from manufacturing drawing stage through to the document control check prior to procurement
11. Flattening, tooling and nesting for the LVD punching process
12. Flattening and applying technology in Bysoft 7 for programming work for the laser
13. Prepare Parts Lists and Fixings Schedules (if not provided as part of the manufacture package from the drawing office)
14. Liaise with procurement team to ensure compatibility of information for subcontract manufacturers (if applicable) and to determine correct material usage
15. Assist Production to solve fabrication problems
16. Follow Bailey quality control procedures
17. Other duties requested by management in support of the Bailey team.
Programming Engineer Position Requirements
18. Radan software experience beneficial
19. Bysoft laser programming experience essential
20. Methodical and organised
21. Willing and able to take the initiative and solve fabrication problems
22. Comfortable complying with procedures
23. Good fabrication production knowledge
24. Good accurate CAD skills, used in a sheet metal environment.
25. Experience in SolidWorks or other 3D Autodesk Products: Revit, Inventor, AutoCAD, is desirable, though training can be provided to those with thorough CAD skills
