Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Aylesbury Area

Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? Do you have a caring and patient nature? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a dynamic and supportive team in a school based in the Aylesbury area.
As an LSA, you will play a crucial role in helping children achieve their full potential, providing support to students with a variety of learning needs. You will work closely with the class teacher to create an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans (ILPs).
* Support children in class, helping them with academic tasks and promoting social and emotional well-being.
* Work closely with teachers and other staff members to ensure the needs of all students are met.
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational or support role.
* A genuine passion for helping children with special educational needs.
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
* A proactive and flexible approach to your work.
* The ability to work well as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential.
