Looking for an internal recruitment role? Our in-house recruitment team are looking for an experienced Talent Specialist to join the team on a part-time basis to help drive our local and direct recruitment campaigns. Purpose of the role: As a member of the resourcing team our new Talent Specialist will work alongside our managers to help drive our operational direct recruitment model. Your main responsibility will be to attract local candidates, engage with candidates in a timely manner, from point of application to initial contact, for our production environment. Your key responsibilities will include: Being creative in your approach to the local area Hosting open days and becoming the face of Pro-Pak Foods recruitment Building relationships with local schools, attending breakfast clubs, careers events etc. to really sell the benefits of working for Pro-Pak Foods, and continuing to build the reputation locally as an employer of choice Keeping up to date with legislation around recruitment and right to work checks Social media engagement (LinkedIn and Facebook) Conducting initial screening and interviewing of candidates Proactively searching for candidates via CV Library and other social media tools Identifying high calibre candidates for both the active and potential roles Ensuring that all allocated roles are worked on, keeping the resourcing manager up to date on the progress of your applicants. Our new Talent Specialist will need to have: Recruitment experience (preferably of operations / production / blue collar roles) A creative approach and ability to work with the local schools and authorities to add value and build our reputation The ability to work in a fast-paced, target driven environment and be delivery focused Social media posting and engagement experience A good understanding of the candidate market and blue sky thinking Motivation and be driven Excellent relationship building skills High organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Commercial awareness Confident face to face and telephone manner Flexibility and be adaptable A full UK driving license is essential.
