This role is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation and management of compensation and benefit programmes to attract, retain and motivate employees.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop reward strategies, manage performance-related pay, conduct market benchmarking and provide insight to senior management on compensation trends and best practices.
2. Support the Chief People Officer to deliver effective governance of the remuneration arrangements through the Board's Remuneration Committee.
3. Ensure compliance with the Board agreed Remuneration Policy and regulatory requirements.
4. Establish, implement and maintain remuneration policies and practices that adhere to SPW’s remuneration philosophy.
5. Design, develop and implement Reward policies and processes to support the business strategy.
6. Maintain knowledge of market benchmarking and trends, and participate in annual McLagan Compensation survey.
7. Track HR Key Performance Indicators, Risk Appetite Metrics, Key Risk Indicators, OpCo and RiskCo reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
1. Bachelor's or advanced degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
2. Extensive experience in designing and implementing reward strategies and managing compensation structures.
3. Strong knowledge across all aspects of the Reward package; fixed and variable pay, long term incentive plans, benefits, pension plans.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
5. Leadership skills to ensure a positive working environment and an engaged People team.
