Due to exciting expansion plans, we are hiring Production Operators to join our growing Production team at ROM Sheffield.
39 hours Monday to Friday
Rotating (Mornings and Afternoons) – WK1 6am-2pm and WK2 2pm -10pm
£24,399.89 per annum, Plus 5% shift allowance and Production Bonus
If you have overhead/gantry crane experience, this would also be desirable!

As one of the largest steel reinforcement suppliers in the UK, Rom is strategically placed in sites around the UK in Scotland, Ireland, Midlands, Wales, and East London. Our Sheffield facility is responsible for producing steel products to Hinkley Point Nuclear Power Station and has a history of supplying steel for other iconic projects such as Crossrail, HS2, Google HQ, and The Commonwealth Games Aquatic Centre. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Operate all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment and undertake production tasks safely and in accordance with instructions.
2. Complete production activities in order of priority.
3. Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing specifications. Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
4. Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed.
About you:
1. A good awareness of Health and Safety.
2. Ability to follow strict processes and procedures.
3. Eager to learn.
4. Previous production experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
