Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in using both hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
1. Diagnose mechanical issues through observation and testing.
2. Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery, vehicles, and equipment.
3. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs.
4. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to mechanical work.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
3. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
6. Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanics or automotive technology are advantageous but not essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,814.00-£35,000.00 per year
