My client is an independent nursery who is looking for a Deputy Manager to join their beautiful setting in St Albans.
Role Purpose:
The Nursery Deputy Manager is a qualified early years childcare professional whose main role is to provide professional leadership and management of the nursery. They will effectively help manage the day-to-day running of the nursery, deliver the highest standards of care and education, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements and the policies and procedures at all times. They will have the confidence to make day-to-day decisions thoughtfully and with a high degree of sensibility to the needs of the staff, children, and families. As the Nursery Deputy Manager, you will contribute to the strategic planning, monitoring, evaluation, and development of the nursery.
This role is predominantly office-based, but there will be times where cover in classrooms is necessary to maintain ratios. Time will also be spent in the classrooms as part of the development of the staff, children, and nursery.
