Job summary Abbey Medical Practice is looking for a qualified, forward thinking GP to join our friendly team, with a view to partnership in the future, working between 6-8 sessions per week. We are a Practice with a list size of 9000 patients, located close to Lincoln city centre on Monks Road. The Practice is part of IMP PCN, along with 8 other Practices. We currently have a team of five GPs and two Advanced Nurse Practitioners, along with a highly skilled Nursing Team, as well as a team of pharmacists, a first contact physio and mental health workers. We are a training practice for GP trainees and would therefore also welcome and support an interest in teaching or becoming a GP trainer alongside our current trainers although this is not essential. The Practice has been in new premises at 91-95 Monks Road for the last two years, based close to the centre of Lincoln. This has opened up lots of opportunity for Abbey Medical Practice, with additional clinical space allowing the Practice to grow moving forward. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: a. The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population b. The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract c. Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance d. Effective management of long-term conditions e.
