From award-winning hospitals and leisure facilities to flagship community programmes – we’ll do whatever it takes to look after the UK’s wellbeing. It starts with passion and commitment to quality. It starts with you.
Nuffield Health is looking for a Technology Delivery Manager for an exciting programme of work within the Employee, Infrastructure and Data technology unit to join us on a 6-month fixed term contract.
As the Technology Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading the compliance project for the annual submission of the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit working closely with all teams across technology. You will be working across the department to ensure all projects, new and existing services, systems and applications undertaken have the relevant compliance with DSP and cyber security requirements.
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Technology Delivery Manager with a strong track record in delivering projects across a complex environment. You will bring a strategic mindset, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive complex initiatives to successful completion. Experience in healthcare would be a bonus – but a passion for delivering fast-paced change in a complex estate is what we’re looking for.
As a Technology Delivery Manager, you’ll bring:
* Significant demonstrable experience of practising and embedding at least one applicable methodology: Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.
* Proven delivery experience in a complex technology environment with a high volume of change, balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
* Proven ability to manage multiple deliveries simultaneously.
* An accomplished, credible, and respected professional with well-developed stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills gained in a complex organisation.
* Strong analytical and conceptual reasoning skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
* Provide effective operational leadership in respect of DSP within the technology department.
* Demonstrable capability to resolve conflict and to build, maintain, and utilise relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals.
* A collaborative working style with a relentless focus on delivering outcomes.
* Experience of working in healthcare and managing best practice in the field of Information Governance and its relevant regulations would be beneficial.
