Your role and responsibilities
You will:
* support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme 5-19 yrs (HCP) by directly supporting the needs of children, young people, and their families
* through multiagency working, effectively safeguard children and young people, which will include participation in safeguarding meetings and contributing to assessment processes
* where required, be the key contact with the family and liaise with other professionals to provide a joined-up response
* have a key role in delivering the Healthy Child Programme
* support health needs of school age children and their families through a Public Health approach
* promote health and wellbeing to ensure each child and young person is supported to reach their potential
* delivering meaningful support to children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
You will need:
* current Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) Registered Nurse.
* evidence of continuing professional development.
* the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds
* excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills
* to demonstrate the We ASPIRE values.
