What You'll Do
Principal Asset Management is seeking a Graduate role in our Fixed Income team to join their London office. This role is a two-year fixed term opportunity to join an asset manager with the successful candidate being responsible for providing research insights to support portfolio managers to make informed investment decisions, in a global infrastructure.
Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do:
1. Develop historical and projected financial models, analyse financial metrics and conduct researched analyses on companies within assigned industry/sector.
2. Leverage analyst cockpit tool to supplement independent bottom-up fundamental research.
3. Analyse and explain economic, competitive, sector and political drivers that impact a borrower's ability to repay its debt.
4. Maintain credit rating, develop well-researched short and long-term outlook and relative value assessments of all current holdings within assigned industry/sector.
Who You Are
1. A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics is required.
2. Able to work independently.
3. Able to efficiently and effectively research, compile, and analyse information.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Good proficiency with Excel.

Location
Based in our London office. This role is on-site, with four days a week in the office.
