Job Description
Leading Law firm specialising in criminal law requires a full-time legal secretary
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
* providing comprehensive secretarial support to the legal team
* printing, collating and organising case papers.
* Managing court and diaries of solicitors
* Ensuring incoming/outgoing mail are dealt with promptly.
* Performing Receptionist duties including dealing with clients by telephone and in person.
* Administering the submission and progress of legal aid applications to the Scottish Legal Aid Board and interaction with the Scottish Legal Aid Board both electronically and by telephone.
* Organising files in hard format, and assisting in the transition of paper files to files which exist in electronic form.
Person Specification:
* Candidate must have knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office/Microsoft Outlook/Microsoft Excel.
* The candidate will be organised, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in the production and submission of documents.
* The candidate will be motivated, hard working and a strong team player.
