Are you an experienced Deputy Manager or Senior Support Worker ready to take the next step into Registered Management? This is a fantastic first-time Registered Manager opportunity with an established provider offering full support and training through their internal leadership academy.
About the Role: This is a unique opportunity to lead a solo home supporting a young person with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment while ensuring the home operates to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Management: Oversee the daily operations of the solo home, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with Ofsted regulations. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff, promoting a positive and therapeutic environment.
2. Care & Safeguarding: Ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional development of the young person in residence. Implement and monitor personalised care plans and behaviour support strategies.
3. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards in line with Ofsted regulations and best practice guidelines. Ensure policies, procedures, and safeguarding measures are strictly followed.
4. Development & Progression: Benefit from structured career development through the provider’s internal leadership academy. Gain hands-on experience and training to develop into a multi-home or senior management role.
Requirements:
1. Experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Support Worker in a residential EBD setting.
2. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Level 5 in Leadership & Management is desirable or willingness to work towards it.
3. Strong understanding of EBD, trauma-informed care, and safeguarding.
4. Passion for making a difference and a commitment to progressing into senior leadership.
