About the role
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Duty Manager at our Beverley campus. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting colleagues in the management of incidents, such as behaviour and first aid, along with other duties that are commensurate with the role.
The role would be particularly suited to individuals from a customer service or people-focused background or persons with the ability and skill to manage difficult situations. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to develop as an individual and be part of a great team.
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a pragmatic and integrity approach. You need to be willing to develop yourself and others, and have a flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements for the role:
Qualifications and Training:
1. Teaching, training, mentoring or coaching qualification (Desirable).
2. Current full First Aid at Work certificate or a willingness to work towards achieving.
3. Conflict management or a willingness to work towards.
4. Current driving license.
Experience:
1. Working in a customer/people-focused environment.
2. Managerial/supervisory experience (Desirable).
3. Managing challenging behaviour (preferably in an educational setting).
4. Experience of working in an educational environment (Desirable).
5. In the use of de-escalation, team teach or pause strategies (Desirable).
