Please note you are only eligible to apply for this role if:

* You are not in full time compulsory education.
* You are able to meet the entry requirements of the qualification and to undertake the studying and coursework required to complete the course.
The Job Role
As an /Arborist you will learn how to:
* Use and maintain a chainsaw
* Fell and process trees
* Climb trees using a rope and harness, and using elevated platforms
* Learn to recognise different types of trees and shrubs
* Identify and manage pests, diseases and tree defects
You will work towards a Level 2 Arborist Apprenticeship
We’d like to hear from you if you are:
* Interested in tree care and maintenance
* Able to work at heights
* Wanting to continue to develop educationally while learning on the job
* Good at working as part of a team
You will need:
* 2 GCSEs in Maths and English
* To demonstrate an interest in tree maintenance
* Knowledge of health and safety and how it applies to the role
