What you’ll be doing:
* Managing and guiding adiverse team of project accountants to produce high-quality,consistent financial forecasts and encouraging knowledge-sharingand professional growth while ensuring financial data is thorough,accurate, andmeaningful
Driving effective and consistent finance processesby fostering a culture of collaboration, accuracy, and continuousimprovement and strengthening financial controls to enhancetransparency, accountability, andcompliance Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting toequip stakeholders with clear insights and reliable forecasts,supporting informed decision-making and strategicplanning Developing a Finance Capability Centre to enhancebusiness performance by providing financial expertise across theproject lifecycle, supporting successful and sustainable projectdelivery Delivering insightful financial analysis andbusiness intelligence to support well-informed decisions alongsideidentifying and addressing risks while creating opportunities tostrengthen financial performance and ensure responsible workingcapital management
* Leading the productionof quarterly forecasts and annual budgets (IBP) throughcollaboration, careful analysis, and constructivediscussion
Partnering with Finance Business Partners and IPTsto support well-rounded cost estimation, risk management, andopportunityidentification
Your skillsand experiences:
Essential:
* Qualified member of arecognised professional accounting body (e.g., ACA, ACCA,CIMA)
Experience in Project Finance, such as forecasting,financial planning, or working onprojects Proven relationship-building skills, with theability to collaborate, influence, and engage effectively withstakeholders
Desirable:
* Experience in a similaror related industry
* Familiarity withMRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial tools forreporting, forecasting, and analysis (e.g., SAP BPC / SAC, Cognos,Tableau)
Experience in managing a team and providingcoaching or mentoring to teammembers
