Job Overview We are looking for a band 3 Activities Facilitator to join our established and dynamic team. You will be working within a friendly multi-disciplinary team with young people in an inpatient tier 4 CAMHS. The environment can be both challenging and exciting; experience working with this client group is desirable but not essential. Mill Lodge is a CAMHS Tier 4 inpatient service working with young people aged 13–18 years of age. You will be based in York but there will be expectations for you to occasionally travel within the Trust for things such as training. The team provide a flexible service to meet the needs of the young people, including some evening and weekend hours. This is a crucial role within a busy team, offering a range of therapeutic sessions, supporting engagement and helping to provide some structure and routine to the ward. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with this client group. Telephone discussions prior to interview are encouraged Main duties of the job This post would be an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in facilitating the delivery of therapeutic activity within an inpatient environment supporting Young people on their recovery journey. The successful candidate would be supporting young people identifying and engaging in meaningful activity, as part of a ward based timetable supporting routine and structure. We are looking for someone who has experience or knowledge in implementing fun and enjoyable activities with young people with complex needs. Preferred but not essential.
