We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team at HMP Altcourse.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing financial leadership to the operational team at HMP Altcourse. You will provide insights to our business leaders, support strategic decision-making, and drive business performance. You will collaborate closely with various departments, such as sales, operations, and marketing, to ensure financial objectives are met and exceeded.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, conducting data analysis, and providing recommendations to improve financial performance. Additionally, you will partner with key stakeholders to develop and track budgets, forecasts, and operational plans. Your exceptional financial acumen, strong analytical skills, and ability to effectively communicate complex financial information will be critical for success in this role.
About You:
Experience and knowledge requirement for this role:
* Qualified Accountant with CCAB qualifications.
* Prior finance business partnering experience at SLT level within a large, multi-service FM contract environment.
* Proven track record in influencing decision making and improving performance.
* Experience balancing multiple priorities with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
* The ability to connect financial and non-financial metrics to business drivers and actions.
* Ensuring accounting controls, policies, procedures, and compliance are maintained.
* Oversight of core, periodic reporting and analysis – from management accounts to statutory reporting.
* Ensuring the finance department runs smoothly and provides effective services to stakeholders.
* Developing your team to provide effective cover and create career development pathways.
* Providing financial leadership to the operational team at HMP Altcourse.
* Using the contract change process to identify and resource new business growth opportunities.
