On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced GBS & Business Transformation Leader to drive shared service centre (SSC) and Global Business Services (GBS) strategy, development, and optimisation for global clients. This role involves leading large-scale transformation projects, designing and implementing target operating models, overseeing process migrations, and delivering automation and efficiency improvements.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, a proven track record in GBS/SSC set-up and expansion, and expertise in business transformation, automation (RPA), and stakeholder management at a global level.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end GBS/SSC build and transformation projects, from greenfield to maturity.
* Develop and implement global Target Operating Models (TOM) for shared services and operational functions.
* Drive business transformation initiatives, including automation (RPA), process optimisation, and organisational change.
* Oversee large-scale process migrations across multiple geographies, ensuring seamless transitions and operational efficiency.
* Manage multi-functional service delivery (Finance, HR, Procurement, IT, Legal) within shared service environments.
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing strategic recommendations for operational improvements.
* Lead due diligence, process assessments, and fit-gap analysis for GBS/SSC implementation.
* Support business development by engaging with potential clients, delivering proposals, and securing transformation projects.
* Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure adherence to best practices, industry standards, and compliance frameworks within shared services operations.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven leadership experience in GBS, SSC, or business transformation roles.
* Strong expertise in GBS/SSC set-up, expansion, and optimisation across multiple functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, IT, etc.).
* Extensive experience in process migration, automation (RPA), and operational efficiency improvements.
* Track record of managing large, global transformation programmes for multinational organisations.
* Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and influencing skills at the C-suite level.
* In-depth knowledge of process standardisation, operating models, and service delivery frameworks.
* Experience working with automation tools, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and data analytics solutions.
* Hands-on, strategic, and solution-oriented with a global mindset.
* PMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma, or Agile certifications are desirable.

* Build strong relationships with key employees within customer organisations.
* Create strategic plans to address clients' business needs.
* Advise clients on profitable and efficient processes.
* Work towards and exceed sales and revenue targets.
* Proven experience in growing accounts and building long-term relationships.
* Previous experience as a Client Relationship Manager / Account Director, with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
