Commercial Property Solicitor
A well-established and thriving, multi-sector Solicitors are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their office in Liverpool. The firm has a great presence UK wide with a large client base in London and an excellent reputation.
Strong candidates with an impressive background will be considered for this role and the successful Commercial Property Solicitor will work alongside experts in the field managing a strong commercial property client base.
Main Duties:
1. Adequate knowledge and understanding in commercial property law and recent developments as applicable to work being carried out.
2. Attendance on Clients in office, via telephone, and through email communication.
3. Ability to ensure compliance with client care procedures.
4. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and others in contact with the firm, always maintaining a good image of the firm.
5. Ability to develop new business with commercial entities via networking etc.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing a mixed caseload of purchase and sale of commercial and business premises, site acquisitions, disposals and development, retail, leisure, factory office and residential, leases & renewals, portfolio management and property investments, property finance and rent reviews.
2. Advising clients, which could include a wide range of buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, developers, and funders.
3. Managing your caseload.
4. Drafting various legal documentation.
5. Dealing with complex property matters.
6. Active involvement in business development.
7. Accurate billing of clients, maintenance of running records of costs.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Candidates must be a qualified solicitor.
2. Post qualification experience of working within the given area of law.
3. Prior experience of supervising and motivating a team.
4. Extensive, up to date knowledge and understanding of the given area of law concerned.
