Expect a role that’s as challenging as it is rewarding, filled with opportunities to innovate and drive the future of sustainable motoring and advertising.The RoleAs the Master Mechanic, you’ll be the backbone of the workshop, ensuring the fleet of EV Ad Rovers are always running flawlessly and able to be out working for their clients. Alongside this you will be responsible for looking after the classic vehicles, both electrified and traditional ICE models. This role combines hands-on mechanical work with the chance to innovate and explore the world of EV conversions. You’ll also play a key role in reliability testing, data collection, and ensuring our vehicles stay in peak condition.The role isn’t just about being in the workshop – you’ll also have to drive and showcase these iconic vehicles across the UK, work alongside specialist engineering partners, and be part of a team redefining this category.Your Key Responsibilities•Classic Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the reliability and performance of the fleet of classic vehicles, including both EV-converted models and those retaining their original ICE's.•EV Conversions: Learn and master the art of electrifying classic cars, working on mechanical, electrical, and engineering challenges unique to each vehicle.•Data & Diagnostics: Collect and analyse performance data from vehicles to anticipate maintenance needs, reduce breakdown risks, and improve reliability.•Specialist Collaboration: Work with external engineering and technical specialists to solve complex challenges and innovate new solutions.•Vehicle Showcases & Travel: Drive and display the vehicles at events, client showcases, and other engagements across the UK.•Problem Solving: Apply creative solutions to the unique challenges of combining classic car mechanics with modern EV technology.
